Svetlana Obukhovich, holding a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Digital Economics, currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at HAMK University of Applied Sciences. In addition to her role at HAMK, she is a Visiting Lecturer and Doctoral Researcher in the International Marketing Team at Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT).
At HAMK University of Applied Sciences, Svetlana's portfolio encompasses such courses as data analysis, marketing, and sustainable business. Drawing from her diverse international research background, including experiences in Germany and China, she possesses specialized expertise in domains such as consumer behavior, consumer psychology, marketing, and international business. Svetlana's scholarly contributions to digital marketing, consumer behavior, and sustainable consumption have garnered recognition at esteemed international marketing research conferences across the United States, Australia, and Europe.
Before joining the academia, Svetlana gained hands-on experience in business development, internationalization and business analytics in various industries such as IT, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals.
Faisal Shahzad is a Senior Lecturer at HAMK University of Applied Sciences, with a Ph.D. in Management and a distinguished international career spanning Pakistan, U.A.E, Estonia, Germany, and Finland. His expertise encompasses Business Development, Sustainability Transition, and Entrepreneurship.
Notably, his impactful research focuses on SMEs internationalization, market entry mode choice, and Sustainability transition, leading to publications in international journals and books. Beyond academia, he actively engages in regional ecosystem activities, contributing through stakeholder engagement, hackathons, and seminars. He has worked on several EU-funded projects as researcher and project manager. His work has been presented at prestigious international conferences including AIB Warsaw and IST Netherlands.
